WOW!!! What can one say after riding this coaster of truly epic proportions? This was my most higly anticipated coaster in awhile, after recieving the Golden Ticket Award for best steel coaster. When I got to the park I just stared up in awe. Yes, up. 208 up to be exact. You can see this beast from anywhere in the park, as well as hear the screams. As you enter the ride the tremendous lift hill looms over you with an ominous look. For those who gather up enough courage to ride, they first walk through a room with some Superman drawings and other cool stuff. The waiting area is then next to the twisted conclusion to the coaster, where you watch the trains roar past. The loading station is surprisingly well-themed for a Six Flags Park. Not to mention the music from the station is cool and intimidating. Now to the ride. The first drop is INSANE! Theres no feeling like plummeting 221 at a 75 degree angle at 77 mph heading into a misty tunnel. All with a view of the lake to the left. Out of the tunnel there is a large hill with some nice airtime. The upcoming helix is just a sign of things to come. The two airtime hills under the lift hill are the best airtime in the world! I literally was out of my seat until I reached the bottom. Phenomenally designed. The rest of the ride doesnt let up, with another tunnel and lots more airtime. So thats why this is the worlds best steel coaster. Ive been on rides with better single elements but the way Intamin put this one together is truly perfect!
