It looks awesome. The height is truly incredible. The launch is intense. The only thing that disappointed me was the way it slowly went over the hill. On Hypersonic or Xcelerator, you rocket up and over the hill - getting huge airtime in the process. On TTD, you slowly go over the crest with no airtime at all.
The descent was great. Spiraling downward. Me and the guy next to me (some stranger) both lifted our arms for the descent, but quickly grabbed the seat handle as the thing started spiraling.
There were frequent mechanical problems when I visited. I waited about 40 minutes. Definitely my longest wait of the entire day.
Seat selection was allowed. Two trains come into the station at a time. They are both loaded and then both go to the launch area simultaneously. You sit on the track with the sound of revving dragster engines blaring and the anticipation builds. The launch is like a rocket. Cameras take photos during launch and coming over the hill, giving a cool dual perspective photo.
The station is beautiful. It is modeled after a grandstand. It looks great at night. A grandstand is placed along the launch track and folks just hang out watch riders scream there heads off.
Its a 20 second ride, but the unexpected benefit of this ride is that Millennium Force now seems like a longer ride than it is.
TTD is a good exciting ride, but it is not, IMO, a better rollercoaster than some of the great mega and gigas out there. Its a thrill - not a "coaster".
