i watched this ride grow on americacoasters.com and i had high expectations for it. when the day came for me to finally ride xcelerator, i was pumped. the launch is awesome! one of the best ever! the tophat element is so sweet however, the ride attendants pushed my lapbar in way to tight and i got NO airtime! the rest of the ride is pretty standard. the turns are forceless and could have been more intense. overall i was dissappointed with xcelerator. they could have let the guests pull their own lapbar down so there would be ejector air but there wasnt.

pluses: fast,intense, nice theming
minuses: short, not as much airtime as hoped, SLOW loading times

You did get airtime, you just didnt get "air". They cant let guests pull down their own lapbars after the Perilous Plunge accident. And believe me, you wouldnt want ejector airtime; your thighs would be throbbing for a very long time.

Yea ok. Um what would not be standard after going 0-80 in about 3 sec and going vertical. The loading isnt that bad. And they have to be so saftey oriented on intense ride like this. i dindnt get any air time. Just like shorty said. U got the feeling just u didnt get out of your seat.Xcelerator is a 10

This is a great ride. if you want airtime you get way more in the seats that are closer to the back. I went to the park midweek in february and i basically could have rode it all day long. there is absolutely no line for any ride.
