I agree what good is a ride is is worthles if the wait is too long. Look at the tember splash the wait is the biggest complaint. I like this ride better then Scream at SRNE. Less time to get your barings.

StarBlaster is much beter then Scream. .5-1.5 hours to ride a ride thats over in 50 seconds. you ride that and ill have riden starblaster 3-5 times by the time you get on.
Paul on 5/6/2002 3:11:59 PM said:
uh..It took me about 20 mins each ride, and It not only Launches you...but it lifts you to the top and drops you after a few secs. Does Starblaster do this? Even if it does its like, more than 100 feet shorter than Scream. Thats crazy..
coasterkev on 5/7/2002 10:33:32 AM said:
It is 80 feet but it lances you twice +the brake bounce
daptwa on 5/8/2002 4:51:42 PM said:
Yeah that is crazy. unless youre weak and cant handle anything theres absoluty no way you can starblaster is better than scream.

coasterkev, are you a canobie lake fan? first you say the yankee canonball has more air than superman. now you say the tiny little starblaster is better than the 200+ foot scream ride. it makes no sense at all.

None what so ever.

one it is not the size that counts it is how well te line moves. also if SROS@SFNE hane the same air time you yould get of of it with bruses from the seat belts. and Like the fact that when canobie gets a ride they get the best + sfne is a totle pit i wouldnt even go if it didnt have SROS and as soon as SF starts treating their parden my languege(CUSTERMERS) as guests the rides willl be better.
daptwa on 5/13/2002 12:48:52 PM said:
What are you talking about?? bruses from a seatbelt?? That means every time you get in a car you must come out black and blue! you said sfne is a toilet pit?? Have you been to any of the other six flags parks??
coasterkev on 5/14/2002 11:00:29 AM said:
do you get info befor you type i have been to a few sf parks SFNE is the worst one i have ever been to and if you read the hole thing youn would not have asked such a dumb qwestion.

At least he reads over what he types.....
daptwa on 5/14/2002 3:11:55 PM said:
dumb question huh... I agree with you on sixflags looking at their guest as customers. However I think SFNE has done a decent job of taking care of the park since they purchased it. ITS NOT A TOILET PIT!! Canobie lake is not sooooooooooo much better that you can een make a comparision. Why do you think size dosent matter?? I think you probably feel that way in other categories also. Its ok.... I understand why you like the SMALLER S&S tower now.
sfnesros on 5/23/2002 7:23:43 PM said:
o shoot!!!!! hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! that was uncalled for.
sfnesros on 5/23/2002 7:31:31 PM said:
by the way, i have ridden starblaster and scream, and while i liked scream a little better, starblaster had no line and it was still a whole lot of fun.
daptwa on 5/28/2002 12:34:51 PM said:
it probably was uncalled for but he ticked me of.Is it really a decent ride?? I just cant see how a 100 foot tower can be all that exciting. Maybe I will find out if I make it up to Canobie this year. Whats the price to get there nowadays??
sfnesros on 5/28/2002 2:27:31 PM said:
I think its about 17 bucks or something. Starblaster is fun if you dont go on it with very high expectations. It did have pretty good air. I personally enjoyed it.
coasterkev on 5/29/2002 10:25:45 AM said:
the tickets are 23$ this year but McD. should have discount tickets
daptwa on 6/3/2002 10:19:06 AM said:
Ill try to check it out this year so I can see what the big deal is about Starblaster.

I love Star Blaster it has tons of air-time, and has a great stomach-dropping sensation. The ride also has a quick wait 10-20 minutes. Its the only S&S Powers adult tower I have ever been on, so I cant compare it to other towers like Scream.
