Knotts Hyper Coaster

More info has been found about the new Knotts coaster thats being built for May 2002.

The rocket-like takeoff is only the beginning. Riders are propelled about 20 stories in the air, then shoot straight down - at a 90-degree angle. The entire ride -- which travels along 2,002 feet of track -- lasts only 62 seconds. Xcelerators tallest hill is 205 feet, making it Knotts second-tallest ride behind the 312-foot Supreme Scream.
