| they are consierned that it will tarnishe the stratosphere's image...the stratosphere is like the icon of las vegas, we even have it in our city seal. Also, they are consirned that the noise will be too loud (those of you that have riden Superman UE know what I'm talking about) but Arrow has thought all of this through. It just seems that the people REFUSE tol listen. Arrow has mad adjustments like making to wheels out of polyurethane to defent the sound. They have made the cabin a closed one, so the puke (bad mental images) and othere things will not fall out of the car. Arrow has done an excelent job to make it "fit-in"! Even our mayor (Oscar B. Goodman, the greatst/coolest mayor in the WORLD) says get on with the coaster!!! It is obvious that our downtown end of the strip could use a great attraction to help boost tourisim to downtown, they just want it to look prett....a stupid reason...I'm crossing my fingers on this one, this would be awesome... |

I will say, as much as I want this ride, it not going to "enhance" the look of the stratosphere, it's kinda like a giant tounge crossing Las Vegas Blvd.. but man would I like to ride it  |

| i agree it wouldn't be the prettiest thing on the strip, but if you look at history buildings like the statue of liberty was critisized and ppl wanted to take it down, the eiffel tower was supposed to be torn down after the worlds fair, even the Stratosphere itself was not liked at first. We here used to call it The BUT (Big Ugly Tower). So I dunno, when I consider how great of a ride this would be, I probably could care less about its physical apperance... |

| i really dont think that it will take away from the look but it also wont add to it. and its not like the ride will stick out 50 ft from the tower. and you have to remember, if the ride will detract from the look of the tower, the owners of the stratosphere wont build it. |
