How to go to a theme park and get a instead of a and to make you go instead of :uhoh:

1. The entry:

-Ok. Heres somethin. If you A. Like theme parks. and B. Dont't have the money to visit weekend after weekend. , get a season pass. It might save you some money. Especcialy if you want some friends to come with.

-If you do have the money, but don't use season passes, don't try to cheat your way into Six Flags. It only works 1 out of 100 times. Don't ask how I know that one :upto: .

-If there are bees or wasp swarming round you, take out your bug repelent and get those buggers away. If you don't have any, then don't try to attack em. They are just like you. If you were in line to a park and someone was swatting at you, you'd wanna sting em too. Besides, bees and wasp like me .

-TAKE A PARK MAP!!! They are free and guide you to the stuff.

-DON'T PISS OFF THE PERSON WHO GIVES YOU THE TICKET IN!!! They may look like crack addicts or pumped up pissed off steroid freaks, but they are the pumped up pissed off steroid freaks that give you the way in.

Next is the park itself.

2. The park itself:

-Bring water and some snacks. The food prices are kinda high. Remember, they are that way to fund the park better.

-Don't waste food or water that you buy or didn't buy. Whether its your fault or by accident, wasting supplies in a themepark may be costly.

-Bring sunscreen!!! You'll be outside so long, you'll soak up ultraviolat rays like a sponge. Even if it is cold, the sun is still out and it's still wizzing his ultraviolat rays all over you.

-Use some money for extra cameras, the special shops (make music videos or get an old fasioned photo in cool costumes), or to ride the specialty rides like go-kart rides or virtual reality games.

-If you have multiple people with (mainly teens and adults) and you wanna ride seperate rides, go ahead, but either have a buddy system or a rally point. I know, but these days people get careless. So when the park closes everyone is waiting for the guy to come back and open up the van so they can get back and watch The Matrix.

-Don't spend to much time watching the rides. Ride em yourself! But if it's to scary for you, you might as well stay there or find a ride you can go on with a good veiw of that other ride.

Next is the rides.

How to go to a theme park and get a instead of a and to make you go instead of :uhoh:

3. The rides:

-Rides are 99.9999% safe. The coaster cars are tightly sandwiched between 2 rails made of steel (sometimes wood). So even 5 pounds won't make the car tip even when you're upside-down or sideways. Also, centrifical force holds you down. The only fear is if you experience negetive g's on a loop or while sideways, but still, you'd be pretty safe.

-Always wear a safety belt, harness, or strap. They keep you from falling out on slow turns, flat turns, or on negative g's. No, there is no centrifical force during these areas, so you are very vulnrerable.

-Now remember, don't waste food. Eat as much as you like. Depending on what kind of rider you are depends if you can eat or not before a more intense ride. If you get sick easy and puke on rides easier, Don't eat anything like noodles or speggeti!!! You can't throw up if there is nothing to throw up. If you don't even get sick on rides, you can eat a little bit more.

-If it's more than you can chew, think about riding it. Draw a little simulation of it in your mind. If you get sick off of it, don't even think about LITTERALY. If you think it looks good, ride it. If not, don't.

-Each coaster has a different feel. Wooden feels like you're about to fall out, steel is smooth and feels like you are gliding across the rail. I haven't felt the invert yet due to recent events. I'll update soon.

-Each ride is effected by the current time. Line and ride effects to nausea and speed. At morning, the rides will be kinda packed, the speed will be at normal, and the nausea is reduced due to you just woke up. Daytime, the lines are packed, the speed is still normal, nausea is upgraded cause you are awake. At night, the speed is increased a bit, the nausea is at max, and the lines are thin.

-DON'T GET OUT OF THE LINES!!! If you are 25% through the line, don't get out of the line. You'll waste alot of time you could've had on the ride. And there's no turning back, too.

-Have fun!

4. The ride specs:

-The goal of a coaster: To make you go on the track as your car freely glides on a runaway course through loops, anti-gravity jumps, and drops or somethin. This is 1 of the many goals a roller coaster has. If this isnt it, reply immedietly. I will make any changes if nesseciary .

-The launch: There are 3 main ways to get a coaster up to speed: Speed launch, hook launch, and climb launch. Speed launch is where the coaster is boosted out of the station. This is used on Space Mountain, The Hulk, and other rides. Hook launch is where the coaster is pulled up by a hook to the top of a hill then released sending the coaster flying down the hill at full speed. Climb launch is the most common used launcher. The coaster cars are brought to the top of a hill by a chain link thingy and then roll down a hill.

-The loop: Some people ask "Why are loops oval shaped instead of a perfect circle?". Well, the truth is, the early coaster had loops like that, but it'd hurt your back. The oval loop is better for you. It is also bigger and funner. For those who never been on a loop, heres what happens. You go up a hill, theres alot of g's and then you go down a hill. Simple senstation, isn't it?

-The position of the car: Every seat is different. The slightest detail can remake the ride in every way. The front car is the funnest, but you only experience 50% of the speed. The middle is both fun and exciting and you experience 70% of the speed. The back is the most exciting and you experience 100% of the speed. Also, the left, middle, and right side of the car have a different feel. Example: The first turn tilts the car sideways to the left. The left side would feel it full force and think they're gonna fall out. The right side thinks its gonna fall on the others. The middle will not feel anything.

-0-G Jumps: 0-G jumps are jumps that make you feel wieghtlessness. How it works. I'll try to draw it in ascii.

---------\____n_____O______
The n represents the jump. These things come after a hill. The negative gs send you flying up. Good excitment there.

-Never try to hurt somebody on a coaster: It could send him flying out and instead of spending your vacation on coasters, you'll be trying to figure out why they pound you when you drop the soap .

-Also, Have fun!

Next is water rides.

5. Water rides:

-Don't stand up!! You'll be banned from the ride for the rest of your life.

-Water rides are called water rides cause you get wet off of em. Don't go unless you are hot, need to cool down, like getting wet, or somethin else.

-At the end of most down-hill boat rides, there is a bridge where you can get soaked, and I mean totaly DRENCHED, where you can stand. Be sure to bring an extra set of clothes and/or a towel.

-Log Flumes sometimes carry pictures of you going downhill. If you have some money, you might wanna buy 1 or 2. Then years from now, you still look back at that day and remember how you pee'ed your pants down the log flume. And no I never pee'ed my pounts down a log flume, but I know somebody who did.

-DON'T JUMP OUT OF THE LOG FLUME. You pretty much know whats gonna happen.

-Have fun! LOL

Thats all we have for this week, stay tuned more episodes.

Rides are far more than 99% safe. In terms of season passes, at Six Flags a standard ticket is $49.99 (plus tax + plus parking) a season pass in $69.00 (min. 4 passes + tax + parking). All I can say is, unless you go to SFGA once, get a pass.

I said 90% safe becuase one of the following can happen:

1. A bird can fly into your faces. (2 cases)
2. You can make a fool of yourself on a coaster. (213 cases)
3. You could fall out. (5 cases)
4. You could get stuck at the top. (10 cases)
5. The launches could fail. (3 cases)
6. You could drown (4 cases)
7. You could lose a few possesions (129 cases)
8. You could be emmotionaly scared (634 cases [mainly kids])

I got alot of theme park experience. I been to plenty of parks and rode plenty of coasters. But lately, something is pushing me away from the good coasters. I'm trying to get rid of this problem. It started after I nailed Six Flags over Georgia. Soon, I'll be riding the good ones again.

And I know it sounds nuts. But its the truth.

I have to disagree with you on a 90% figure. If you add it up 24 cases were related to physically harmful events. Therefore 24 = 10% of all cases. You multiply 24x10= 240, that means that if coasters are 90% safe only 240 times coasters were ridden.

Alternatively, if you take every case you mentioned, you notice that there were 990 cases. Therefore, 990=10%. You multiply 990x10 you get 9,900 total rides on roller coasters.

There are a lot more coaster riders than 9,900.

It is all simple math. LOL

90%...I don't think so..LOL Theme parks would go out of business. You should make a book called "Theme Parks for Dummies". You would make a lot of money!

It wasn't that big of a deal...I just thought it was really funny when I saw it. But you should still sell a downloadable theme park guide called "Theme Parks for Dummies". There are so many stupid people who don't know to bring a change of clothes to IOA...

How to instead of in a virtual coaster.

1. Remember. Its virtual.
2. Don't vomit! Swollow it if you have to.
3. Never ever EVER scream the entire time from begining to end. It's annoying to everyone else and then after the ride and when you go home, they'll torch your house :upto:

HEY! My mum got me that book for christmas LOL

Regarding the question asked by IonBlaster, well I take travel sickness pills at the start of the day and seem to be fine. Although when I was at SFMM i made 2 mistakes 1) went on revolution twice 2)as a result took headache pills.

Lets just say the combination of the travel and headache pills left me in a "calm" state I could barely remember what coaster I had just been on LOL

that remind me of the time i went to a theme park (dont remember it) and i was on a serious hangover and i was tricked into doing herion. its a long sotry, but to make it short: never rampage into the control room to the Whirly Mixer and set the speed to 100 MPH.
