My trip to MM went quite well. I was there for 2 days.

Day 1:

We arrived at the park about 30 minutes before it opened. By the time we went through security and were waiting in line for the gates to open, it was about 15-20 minutes before opening. When the gates opened, most people went running to the left, towards X, but we went right. Since we had never been here before, we didn't know the exact path, so we decided to just do the rides in the order we came to them.

Flashback- Closed I was slightly dissappointed about not riding this because I think it would have been a unique expierience.

Goliath- 2 rides The first wait was about 5 minutes or less, and it was a great way to start the day. It is really fast and gets the blood flowing. The second wait was about 15-20 minutes. They only had 1 train running, which surprised me since I knew that this was one of their most popular rides.

Colossus- 1 ride This was another short wait. We had to wain for the train that was there when we arrived to go before we went, so I guess it's a one-train wait. They had two trains going for this one, but only backwards! I would have liked to ride it forwards.

Scream!- 1 ride This ride was a walk-on. I didn't really like it that much. The floorless part you don't even notice. It doesn't have the force of Goliath and doesn't have any unique elements. They had two trains running for this one too.

Colossus- 1 ride My sister wanted to ride this again, so I agreed to go with her. Probably a two- or three-train wait this time.

The Riddler's Revenge- 1 ride This was one of the most horrible expieriences I have ever had waiting for a coaster. They had one train running. One. Again, one of their most popular rides. They also were doing a horrible job of lauching the trains, with it usually taking 3-5 minutes to get one train off. They also had a few periods of no train going at all, lasting about 10-15 minutes. When we finally got into the building, we decided to go all the way and ride front car. That was a mistake. We waited more than an hour once we got into the building. We had to listen to that repetitive, loud music for over an hour. The music is good for about ten minutes, but that's it. The ride itself was fine, but it was spoiled by the long wait. When we were finally off, it was 2 hours and 15 minutes later than when we had gotten in line.

Gold Rusher- 1 ride Probably about a 10-15 minute wait. The ride was good, threading under the flume and represented what a mine train should be.

Superman the Escape- closed I was kind of surprised that this was closed. Not crushed, but it mind have been kind of cool to ride it once.

Ninja- closed I was dissappointed that this was closed, more so than on either of the others. But dissappointment didn't make it open. All we could do was look at how fun it could have been.

Psyclone- 1 ride This had about a 5-10 minute wait. It wasn't as rough as everybody said it was. The tunnel from station-to-lift was neat also.

Deja Vu- closed I had contemplated riding this, though wasn't really planning on it. My decision was made for me.

Revolution- 1 ride Less than a 5 minute wait. Not quite as rough I thought it would be, but definately put your head back against the headrests. I learned this after a few smacks on the rock-hard sides of the OTSR. They don't need both restraints; I think they could do with just a lap bar.

X- 1 ride I wasn't sure if I would ride X, but my day was going to ride so I decided to go with him. It had a short wait, for X: about 30 minutes. They had two trains going for this one. The ride was unlike anything you've ever expierienced on a coaster, or anywhere. I closed my eyes and then opened them, thinking we were going down the drop, but we were just in the dip. I closed them again, but opened them a we came out of the drop. But I had them open for<

Don't be mad at Riddler. It usually runs 2 trains. It rarely runs just one. Not surprised at Ninja. That thing has always had problems. I remeber it back in 1990 when it broke down. They opened it up again 15 minutes later then it broke again 10 minutes later. That's how some people got on. They fixed it and it broke down again. It's always done this.

STE is over-rated. It's fun but not as good as it used to be and it shouldn't be all over t.v like it is.

Vu has been closed for months now. This is the only ride you missed out on. The others that were closed aren't that special. This coaster is awsome.

Do you think there's any chance of the park re-opening Vu by next summer? When was the last time you saw it operate?

July was my last ride on it. It should open. I expect it by Spring Break. That sounds like a good ring to my ear. But if not probably by next summer. It's a popular attraction. And I'm sure they will want to get it back as soon as possible. No clue on what they are doing to it. I havn't seen the train for months. It's totally gone.

Piece of sh*t park. You'd think a park that boasts about having the greatest number of coasters would have all of them running regularly. I hope they get it fixed soon.

It's not their fault. Well it's only their fault in terms of buying it. It's Vekoma's fault. And there's only one that bosts about the coasters. It's that prick that you see on t.v. sometimes. I forget is name. Not Del Holland but the other guy.

It's their fault because it's been down so long, they should have worked on it till they fixed it. Who's this "prick" you're talking about? Someone on a commercial?

Why is that Vu having problems. Have the other ones been messed up too?

Hey, up until this summer this was the good Vu. This is the one that had the fewest problems. The reliable one. And I think that's why it's closed. They are working on it until it's fixed. I don't know what's up with the train. But I know that cable work was needed.

You see him on those Discovery/travel channel coaster special. Not Holland (I respect him), I want to say Andy Garcia? Something like that. He talks too much.
