What ride scared you the most? Why?

Mine would have to be Millennium Force. The first drop was just insane, the overbanked turns make you feel like you are going to fall out, and the feeling of speed made me pee my pants. literally.

The Looping Star (non Schwarzkopf) at the Meadowlands Fair. It was kinda fun but it was really unsafe feeling. OF course it was at a fair so it rested on boards, and my harness didn't go down all the way so when going through the loop I lifted off my seat a considerable amount. Airtime in a loop is not fun!

Drachen Fire and Power Tower at CP. Looking down the first drop on Drachen Fire, and Power Tower was just seemed extremely high.

Dragster, WT, and S:UE. I always get butterflies on launch coasters for some reason.

TTD by far. The launch and the height really freaked me out, and think, I almost chickened out.

The Batman side of Chiller. I wasn't so nervous before it, but during it feeling like I was going to get hurled off of the train scared the crap out of me.

Goliath. It may sound meek to some of all the other roller coasters out there, but I've never had the chance to go a theme park outside of California, so Goliath is pretty much the biggest thing I've been on. Although it is now my favorite coaster, before the ride I was extremly nervous, and going up the lift hill was murder. In the end, I realized I was scared for nothing, but at the time, it was by far the scariest thing I've ever ridden.

I havn't been on the Batman side yet with lapbars. I can imagine how scary it is to hang upsidedown at the top of the tophat and then do a vertical drop with just a lapbar though.

TTD and MF. For some reason, I was really nervous getting on Skyrider @ PCW too. I remember not thinking that I would fit correctly. (I thought I was too small)

The coaster I consider the scariest coaster in the world is not the tallest, nor the fastest, nor does it have the steepest drop. It is the Williams Grove Cyclone.

Picture yourself in a two car train with no seat dividers, barely any padding, and duct tape around the lapbar that doesn't really lock. You climb a lurching, bent lifthill. Going around the first turnaround, you see a screw pop out of the tack plating, and then proply fall right back into place. And then you hurtle down a track with flaking white paint and trees just inchs from you. The question you ask yourself, is this ride going to be the last?

I've heard about that ride Black7. I've never seen pictures of it though, and wow it looks like it's in the same shape as the Thunderbolt in Coney Island before they took it down.

Well, the scariest experience I can remember was going on Alien Encounter in 97. Granted I was only 6 but I vowed never to go on that again. But in my older years, I'd have to say those honord go to (1)PowerTower's Drop Tower-CP because I was literally freaking out climbing to the top of the tower because it seems so tall. The view was completely onobscured and I could see the entire park and everyone under me. Not a good choice for MY FIRST FREEFALL (2)Titan-SFNO mainly because the drop seems like it's bottomless and is very intimadating from the station. Like BlueMystic on Titan's sister, Goliath, though, I came to find out that this ride was pure, bliss and I had absolutely nothing to fear.

I freaked out on Millenium Force. I love coasters, but oh my lord heights are not my thing. I was forced to look at my seat on the way up. Magnum freaked me out too lol.

I think the ride that made me the most nervous was either Doom (my first tower), Giant Drop (my second tower), and The American Eagle. As you can tell, I don't like towers, but I make myself go on them. And I was more scared to go on The American Eagle than Raging Bull. BTW- Moviecoast, I'm the same as you- love coasters, can't stand heights. Doesn't make any sense!

3-way tie between X's first drop, De Ja's cable lift and release, and Supreme Scream at Knott's that damn thing goes up so slow.

The only ride that is capable of putting fear into me remains the Demon drop @ CP...There's just so much clanking, connecting, and releasing of various mechanisms. leveling out at the top and being pushed forward to connect with the rails that will drop you alway's freaks me out. I love it though. And the drop itself isn't exactly tame.

Between all the headchoppers and the ejection seat feel it was pretty scary. I loved it though.

I saw the funniest thing on Apollo's Chariot. There was a group of 3 kids who were around eleven years old. One of them freaked out andsaid he didn't want to go so one of his freinds said if he sat down he'd feel better about it. The kid sat down and his freind pushed the lap bar down on him then sat down himself. The car pulled out of the station and the kid started screaming. The ride attendants couldn't do anything though because they already sent the train off. The whole line started laughing. The kid had fun so it was ok.

I was freaked out on alien encounter too, but Hypersonic XLC scared me a little more. I forced myself to go, but sitting there in front of that hill before the launch... oooh... I can still feel the chills...

To everyone who got on alien encounter and was freaked, well i have to kind of agree, kind of, i mean as much as i loved it, the alien looked fake as hell, especially after the XS presentation on the preshow, in which the robot moved awesomely, as too the scariest ride for me, tyhe first time i got on the Hulk, the boost scared and suprised the hell out of me.

There have only been three times when I was scared to get on a coaster:

1. When The Texas Tornado (Then called Taz's Texas Tornado) first opened, I made myself go, but I nearly pissed myself waiting in the line. The drop was so steep, and the loops sshook back and forth everytime the train went through them.

2. When I first rode Superman: Krypton Coaster @ SFFT. It was just so big, and I was mesmerized by the floorless coaster concept.

3. While I was on one of those cheap, rusty ferris wheels at a carnival. It made creepy sounds, and the cars tipped backwards, and I felt like it was just gonna collapse. UUGGHHH...

Oh, and i have to add the Buggy coaster at the pittston fair in PA. it had, from what i counted, 3 supports holding it up. 1 on the lift, 1 on the helix, and 1 under the station. It was freaky. btw, it was a kiddie coaster, not a large one.
