About 90% of the time that I try to access the homepage of the site, and error message pops up that says something like "Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site. Operation aborted."

Yea after digging around it appears to be a specific ad, I've emailed the company to try and see if they have any tips to resolve it.

The time zone icons at the bottom of th forum page are incorrect. The Big Shot Las Vegas belongs in the pacific time zone.

I finally got the update from the ad provider and disabled what they recommended. Apparently they weren't aware of the issue.

Takes a few hours for it to kick in so let me know if it's still doing it tomorrow.

How about fixing it so GAZZA and THE GAZ only have one account since he is annoying enough by himself, let alone when they "talk" to each other.

^ I say leave him alone since he is keeping it in the spam forum. Everywhere else he's been fine IMO, apart from the insult thread.

Mark - you also ask if we have any suggestions for the stats page. How about listing those who have the most ride reviews?

Well part of it is in time between visits. If the cookie was set it wouldn't show the ad that was causing it, so it may have been you still had the cookie.

I got it to do it at home again last night, so I just ended up pulling the whole type of ad.

I've checked that, and it looks to be working, the email links have all been replaced with a form now, so I should get any emails with problems unfiltered.

This is pretty minor, but I've noticed that the clocks at the bottom of the forum page (and just the time in general for posts and such) are still running an hour behind.

Time to "spring ahead"!

Some rides listed as #10 on people's Top Ten are showing up as -19 in the points calculation. Did read Mark's description of how rides are rated in
http://www.themeparkcritic.com/Forums/ViewTopic.asp?TopicID=176667&ForumKey=1,
but at one time think I was told that rankings also include something about Top Ten lists figuring into the calculation of what rank a ride is. If that's the case, it might explain why on the Home page El Toro is #1, but on it's own page http://www.themeparkcritic.com/scripts/ViewRide.asp?RideID=2494 and in my personal Top Ten listing, it comes up as #3. Not sure if rankings below Ten may come up with negative numbers, and it doesn't appear to affect everyone's Tenth Ranked ride.

For those with limited time in a park, the ranking can make a difference in what rides we visit (and potentially wait in interminable lines) rather than trying something else (which may have shorter lines or may perhaps be superior), hence my desire to insure that any ranking calculation is accurate.

While I'm fussing, I want to thank Mark and all the mods for the site, whatever the problems. It is so helpful to know what to aim for and what others think, all without a subscription fee. And that's just in addition to all the valuable information provided by other users in the Forums. While there may only be 6000 members, if you look at other coaster sites you may see 10 times the number of 'guests' rather than named members, so the site probably helps a LOT of people.
