Yesterday (8/9/07) was my first trip to LC. From Nyc, it took us about 2 and a little hours to reach it. The first thing we noticed was how rural it seemed(especially to NYers) Once we got in, we walked around the park past kiddie land. Our first was Boulder Dash. We rode in the middle of the yellow train. The overall ride was great with high speeds and a hidden track. Then we went on the bumper cars. They got wedged once causing a 20 minute backup. Slower than normal but ok. After that we continued along the lake. We took the histiroc trolley because it happened to be there. Its worth a try if you are tired or it happens to be there already. Next was the sky ride, basically a ski lift to the top and back down. The views were great on the ride was suprisingly steep going down. After that we got food. I had potato patch fries, my mom had a fish sandwich, and my dad had a sausage. After lunch, we took the train along the lake and back. It was relaxing but hard for me to get into without hitting my head. Next was the highlight of the day- last car last seat on boulder dash. The ride was entirely from the back. The air time was doubled and the speed seemed tripled. We bought bout on ride photos as proof. In the backseat one we were nearly a head highed at the same point! Next was the relaxing but normal ferris wheel followed by the roiding out pirate ship THUNDER N LIGHTNING. We rode the standard long cycle swinger. After that was the 1927 wildcat that pales in comparrison to the Cyclon of the same year. We enede the day on the beautiful classic carousel.

Rides- Boulder Dash- great any seat but best in the back!
Bumper Cars - a little below average
Trolley- If you have to wait dont bother
Sky Ride- Suprise to the day great views and ride dont miss!
Train- relaxing with good shade and views
THUNDER N LIGHTNING- cool if line isnt too bad
Wave Swinger- good swinger must ride if a fan
Ferris wheel- same as train applies
Wildcat- a mediocer cyclone relative
Carousel- beautiful fast for a standard corousel, organ sometimes plays an Ompa lompa esq tune and even contains
**A GOAT!!**
Food- PP fries are good everything else is prety standard Free drinks though.

Location - Beautiful and rural

Overall- Great rides free drinks 8.5 / 10

You know the Sky ride is just as steep going up

Glad you had a great time.

Hope I get the rides you described on Boulder Dash when I visit Lake Compounce today.

I got great rides on Boulder Dash and had a great time yesterday at Lake Compounce.
