What do you guys think will be the next major attraction to Disneyworld? Maybe not now, but in the future.

What park?
What type of ride?

well thare i'm gonna have to say a new movie for star tours but as far as the next new major attraction for each park i think mk will be left alone as far as major attractions go, ak will finally get beastly kingdom but not for a long time, mgm will replace the indy show for a indy ride, and epcot will get that world showcase flume that gets coaster05 all pissed off. in this order i believe they will come. 1. new star tours movie 2.new indy ride. 3.showcase flume. 4. beastly kingdom 5.magic kingdom finally gets something. and when or before this is all done a comet will have struck the earth and we will all be dead.

I have heard that they might take out carousel of Progress and put in an Incredibles themed coaster.

I think indoor. And they might move carousel of progress to epcot as a walk through.

I think that sounds cool, but I don't want them to get rid of the Carousel completely. It is a classic! That would be a great addition. If only they could build that rumored ride somewhere else.

2 indoor coasters in 1 section would be kind of ridiculous. they should take that project to mgm instead. starting with toy story mania it will start to become the pixar studios anyways.

Well it might not be and indoor. I have the unofficial guide to disney world 2007 and it says a massive new Incredibles themed robo-coaster.

I agree with metssuck because before you know it Disney-MGM will become Disney-Pixar because I heard MGM wants it's name back to make a new park by its own. That will fit in with the other pixar rides soon to be coming. That will be a nice fit for that park.

I'm praying that they don't take out the Carousel of Progress, that's one of my favorite Disney rides.

I agree! I love that show, and I think Disney wouldn't do that. They would probably put that new coaster in MGM.

screw carousel of progress! i hate that thing. the magic kingdom has so many other classics like the mountains, pirates, haunted mansion, and many more that they can spare this. i don't want another indoor coaster in tommorowland to take its place but that rumored bumper car ride with ball canons would be a great replacement. if that happened it would really be a "great big beautiful tommorow."

I'm not saying that I don't like CP, I do. Its just a rumor in my travel guide. This is the problem that disney has. If it takes out a ride people get upset if they don't do anything people get upset. I think a new coaster would be great.

I agree it would be great, but I don't know where it will go. That sounds like a cool idea.

Carousel of Progress need some Repairs but it's a good attraction. anyone with the slightest respect for history can appreciate the ride. I would like to see it moved to Epcot.

EPCOT needs some new shows in World showcase for now.

MGM is getting Toy story mania but the pixar park idea is lame since pixar has been injected all over WDW. Indy is not going anywhere for a while. they will play of the Publicity of Indy 4 so were looking at 2012 at minimum. I would like to see some sort of Family lever coaster.

AK needs the most work. It's the largest park land wise but it's got the lowest capacity. Since it already has bugs like why not add the Flicks Fun Fair in the center island. Adda couple extra Dino themed rides to Chester and Hester's. bring the boat cruse back. Again a carousel Animals from around the world. Then worry about spending millions on a single area.

The rumor is that when the new Indy comes out that the shows time limit is up. I heard that Disney would love to replace it with an Indy ride. MK doesn't need attention right now. EPCOT is only in need of updated WS videos. AK is in need of the most help.

The rumor I heard from castmembers last summer when I was their, was that disney was going to build a Vilains theme park. Now that sounds like that would be cool.

Yeah that sounds real cool, but it is to specific. All of the other parks have room to imagine rides, but the vilains is a real specific idea. It sounds really cool though.

you know those steeplechase roller coasters? the ones where you ride on horses and it is a single rail roller coaster. i would like to see a major theme park get one of those. if i ran disney i would put in one of those in fantasyland at the magic kingdom themed to that movie, spirit:stallion of the cimarron. not to get to off topic but busch gardens could easily make one of those and it would be like your riding the famous clydesdales. those rides look so cool i want to go on one real bad but the only one remaining to the best of my knowledge is in england.

I love that idea metssuck! That sounds like a cool ride, and it is easy to theme. That would be an awesome addition.

You will never see Disney get one of those, especially themed off a movie that most people don't even know about any more. They are willing to dish out $100 million on each of their new attractions...they would not waste it on a steeplechase.

Yeah I guess, but that is still a cool ride idea. If they got anything that would not be it.

If? No, it's not an if. They have to be planning some big...addition, especially now with the Harry Potter island getting added to IoA.

The if part is about the Magic Kingdom, because it needs the least work right now. We all know that they will get something new.

speaking of the harry potter thing at ioa, what will be removed since it is taking over part of lost continent. they aren't taking out dueling dragons are they? i have never been there but i want to go soon and i really want to ride that. now back to disney, i know the steeplechase would never happen, i was just simply fantasizing about it cuz it would be awsome. the busch gardens clydesdale coaster i think would be amazing to. bge should read this and keep it in mind. haha.

Yep, Dueling Dragons is being ripped out. Making room for their new "state of the art attraction."

We'll see how it turns out.

Disney won't ever get something like that themed to what you're talking about because:

1. What tacoking said

and

2. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron was made by Dreamworks

Anyway, I think that we might see some new things from Disney since the Harry Potter announcement. Universal has been putting in quite a few things this year while Disney has been focusing on the Year of a Million Dreams. It will be interesting to see how all of this unfolds.
