Theme Park Review's 2007 Trip Information is here! Below you'll find loads of information about our 3 different Theme Park & Roller Coaster trips we are offering for 2007.

You do not need to be a member of any club, organization, or website to take park in our trips. In fact we ENCOURAGE people who are members or owners of other websites to come join in the fun, represent your site, and bring back photos, videos, and updates to share with your readers! Download the flyers for even more info:

2007 Spain Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRS...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This 10 day trip from June 29th, to July 8th, 2007 will take to you the best parks in Spain (and pretty much all of them) to ride well known coasters like Dragon Khan, Stampida, Superman, Torando, Magnus Colossus, Port Aventura's new for 2007 Intamin Rocket Coaster, and much more!

You will also have plenty of time as an option to check out Madrid, Barcelona, visit some water parks, etc. All the fun of the parks and sights in this awesome Mediterranean country!

2007 Mid-West USA Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRM...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This 12 day trip from August 2nd to August 13th, 2007 will take you to some of the most well known parks in the USA! Cedar Point, Holiday World, Kings Island, Six Flags Great America, Wisconsin Dells, and MORE!

You'll get to ride Cedar Point's new Maverick, Holiday World's Voyage, Mt. Olympus' Hades, and lots more. If you live outside the USA, this trip would be a GREAT for you to see some of these parks as the dollar currency exchange rate probably works in your favor! =)

2007 Japan Trip:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/TPRJ...ipFlyer2007.pdf
This trip is going to be a little bit different from any of the other TPR Group Trips announced so far. The Japan trip is going to be what we are calling a TPR "Adventure Tour!" What does that mean? All the organization and planning will of course be done for you, but there won't be any main coach or bus, but instead we'll do the trip "Robb & Elissa Style" with bullet trains, busses, taxis, monorails, a bit of craziness and a LOT of fun! It will be a great exciting way to experience what getting around Japan is really like! Think of it as an "Amazing Race meets Theme Park Review" style of trip.

This *17 DAY* Japan Tour will take place September 1st to September 16th, 2007 and focus mostly on the lesser visited southern Japan parks and some of the Tokyo area parks including: Space World, Mitsui Greenland, Kijima, Central Park, Universal Osaka, Expoland, Tivoli Park, Parque Espana, Nagashima Spaland, Hamanako Pal Pal, Lagunasia, Fuji-Q, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea & MORE! There will be 20-24 parks in total!

This is sure to be an amazing experience. Japan became our favorite place to visit after our first trip 2 years ago and solidified its position on our visit last winter! I KNOW we will all have a fantastic time.

What is a "Theme Park Review Trip" like? Just check out the photos and trip reports from our recent UK Tour where 50 TPR members visited 16 parks, had 17 hours of ERT, park perks like photo walk backs, group lunches, even a "pub quiz" and a heck of a lot of fun!
http://www.themeparkreview.com/uk2006/

And if you have any further questions, you can email us directly or we will be having another "TPR Trips Chat" session on Monday, September 18th at 6:00pm PDT, 9:00pm EDT in the TPR Forum Chat Room so any concerns or issues can be addressed. Once the initial deposit date has passed, a private trip forum will be set up so all participants can join in the discussion, give us feedback, and we'll k

You know, if you really looked into the trips, you'll find that THIS SITE could get just as much out of it as we do:

Yes, so technically we might be "selling" a theme park tour....but we SUPPORT other sites coming on our trips, REPRESENTING those sites. Getting LOADS AND LOADS of photos, reviews, updates, videos, etc to share with YOUR SITE!!!

Why don't you try to look beyond the "advertisement" and see that the service that we offer could actually BENEFIT Theme Park Critic and it's members.

Just as going to any other park or club event could.

Robb thanks for posting even if others get upset.
I can attest that these trips are a great value especially for the international trips. Far cheaper and easier than doing it yourself.

I went on the UK Trip this year and had a blast as did coaster05. BFL would have had fun also, but instead he stayed home to file and staple the whole summer.

Everyone - don't dismiss the opportunity just because it is coming from the operator of the tour. That would be a mistake especially if any of the trips really interest you.

Here are my Trip Reports from the 2006 Trip

Robb, I am a member at your site, and enjoy it, but this is a bit foolish. You lock threads at your site if members post links to their own Sites.

You have only submitted 3 (very poor) reviews to this site. Every other post you have made has been advertising your site.

How about you Contribute a bit and then post a link to your site?? You seem to have no problem telling that to members of your site..

Also, I would love to visit European parks, But I would much rather see the cultural things first. That is much more important than riding coasters.

^ Well, I can see your point, but to be honest, we very rarely lock or delete "link" posts on TPR. In fact we usually encourage our readers to share content and work very closely with a number of other sites to help promote their site.

If someone signs up and the only thing they post is a link to some total crap, we'll pull it. But other than that, we're more than willing to help other sites out.

That being said, as far as what we can "contribute" to TPC? Well, how about we contribute hundreds of hours of trip planning and organization to make these trips available to members of this site so you can come back and posts lots of reviews, photos, videos, etc to increase TPC's overall content?

But seeing as our trips don't interest YOU tells me you don't see the value in that.

Just because our contribution might not be in the form of a picture or review, doesn't mean we aren't contributing in other ways.

How many other websites out there do what we do? Not very many. It's not as though TPC has organized trips and by me posting this information is taking away potential participants of TPC's trips.

If you aren't interested in the theme park trips, or would rather take a cultural trip, why did you bother even responding?

I'm assuming that if this trip DID interest you your response would have been totally opposite, right?

It's like I said, if you can see beyond the "ad" you'll see what we do contributes to TPC and any other site that would be interested in participating.

I will admit that it is good to have TPC on your links page.

Thank you for clearing that up, I hope that you have a great time in Spain.

Me?? I'm saving up to see venice.

You know.....95% of our members usually visit your site or a site similar to it daily. If we wanted that info. then we would ask you on your site. If you want to post something in here....then make it coaster realted, and nothing that advertises for your site. None of us come to TPR trying to get your members to TPC or anything. I understand the point, but it seems that you are only advertising with this thread.

CoasterSS YOU ARE A DICK. If it wasn't for Robb posting on this site a year ago I would have never have found out about the UK trip. I would have never got to meet all the new friends on the trip and I wouldn't be going on the Spain trip this year.

Its funny you can leave here for like 8 months, but criticize what someone else puts on this site. I believe only Mark really has a say on this and considering he has kept Robb a member he must not care.

Now go make some Spam or talk some crap about me cause I am defending a friend.

And if you did have something to let us know about that was here on TPC I would welcome the information and link with open arms.

Too bad the people here can't give someone else that same kind of reception or courtesy.

Sad, really.....

ha, that's what I thought was ironic about it too

I did move this to the "Trips" forum because I think it fits there best, not that there is anything wrong with the news section, but it IS a trip

Unfortunately, the Midwest trip isn't going to be working out for me - as I will in fact be in Europe for the duration of that trip. But nonetheless, I hope everyone that goes on these 3 trips throughout the year has a great time, and thanks to Robb and the folks at TPR for providing these organized trips open to everyone in the coaster community!

For all of you getting mad at him for advertising his stuff here, I'm more than fine with it. I don't go to TPR often if ever, but I'm glad that he posted the info both here and on Coaster-net, because if not, I would have been completely oblivious to the trips.

I was wondering if you could give me an estemated cost of the Japan trip?

coasterf42 - on the TPR site you can get the informational flyers. You can click on the link Robb provided. You just have to download Adobe (free) onto your computer if it is not already loaded.

The cost from the time you land til the time you leave is approx $3,800, that will include park admissions, double occupancy accomodations, transportation within the country and any perks possibly ERT or meals that TPR can organize.

You are responsible for airfare to get to Japanand will probably need $50-$75 a day in spending money.

He met new people because of the trips idiot.

There are no posting rules on here that say you can't advertise. I don't feel like Robb is even advertising anything here. He is just letting those who don't go to the site know about these great opportunities out there.

I love how you keep fighting when there is nothing to fight about.

Coasterdad it only took you 9 days to respond. Being the super member you are and the way you speak for 95% of us I am surprised it took you so long to respond.

Wait I know the delay it was that witty response you had to my post wasn't it. Calling me an ass kisser because I found some new friends. Man that is clever. Oh yeah you also used the f word outside of the FON, did your other nut drop while you were away? Are they fuzzy now?

Nice to have you back and if you save a quarter from each visit to your glory hole you can go with us on the 2008 trips.

Just ignore the guy. If we give in to his responses, he'll just keep on coming at us. It's obvious that he hasn't been here for a long time, & he only wants to come back just to make all of us angry. We've dealt with people like him before, so if he wants to run off his mouth, let him do it. Remember guys like Cody12 & greg lewis who tried to go at BobFunland? BTW, thanks for the TPR trip info. Robb Alvey. Unfortunately, I'm still kinda young to go out on trips like this by myself, so I doubt that I'll be able to make it. The things ya'll do look like a lot of fun & it's definitely something to do that'll make you completely lose your mind & get away from all of the corporate USA parks as well.

This is different RC. coasterdad is a fairly regular memeber - although he did leave for a while. You can ignore the deadbeats that won't come around after a week, but you can't ignore the deadbeats like coasterdad that will keep coming back for more.
