Since we both know that the Patriot has a layout that's pretty similar to Talon: Grip of Fear, which coaster comes out on top? The original B&M invert from 2001 or this year's near copycat clone? Since I've only been on Talon, I'll have to vote for that. Besides, even if I rode on Patriot, it couldn't beat Talon's high speeds, decent amt. of airtime, variety of elements, & intensity.

I rode patriot last weekend. There were very few intense moments. Talon is much better than patriot. Patriot never had a wait over 20 minutes. I guess that the GP doesn't like it either.
Pariot reminded me of silver bullet at Knott's Berry farm. The coaster is alot of fun, but it lacks intensity.
Oh, for those of you wondering, it will be at least another week until I post my huge TR.

I don't know how you can make a camparisn between two coasters when you've only ridden one. I also don't see how you could possibly say that even if you did ride them both Talon would be better. As if Talon is such an groundbreaking phenom. IMHO Talon doesn't even rank in the top 5 of inverts. Off the top of my head Alpengeist, Montu, Top Gun, Volcano, and Batman are all better inverted coasters.

I agree that Talon isn't groundbreaking, but the comparison is a very good one.
I haven't ridden Patriot, but I'll give the nod to Talon just because I like the color scheme better
