NO WAY! When I went, I thought it was just undergoing renovations or something.  I'm going to go cry. I really wanted to ride it!!! cry, cry, weep, cry
By the way, it is Hersheypark. It was changed from Hershey Park to Hersheypark in 1971.
Also, the Flying Falcon is - correction, *cry* was, not a scrambler.

Wait, wait, wait!!!
The Flying Falcon is still on the website and the park map for '06! I think that they are just working on it like I thought...
Although when I went the only thing that is down where the vehicles... Was the tower down when you went?

end of last season the ride manufacturer for the Flying Falcon had a recall
on certain parts of the ride. The manufacturer was overwhelmed with the
request for parts worldwide. Right now we are still waiting on a
particular part to be procured from the ride manufacturer in Germany. We
hope that the ride should be ready to re-open within the next 2 to 3 weeks."

Yup, and Flying Falcon is up and running. Yesterday I went on it twice in pursuit of defeating my fear of heights.
And I LOVED it!

I can't believe that the Flying Falcon actually opened once again. I thought that it was down for the count & being replaced by a new flat ride.
