Is it Volcano at 70mph? If so, that'd be interesting.

Good Question - I thought it was, but rcdb.com lists Wicked Twister at 72MPH at 70 MPH are Volcano, Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) and Steel Venom (GL)
So Wicked Twister is the fastest invert Volcano is the fastest complete circuit invert Alpengeist at 68MPH is the fastest non-launched invert

I also checked on rcdb.com, and found Wicked Twister the fastest inverted coaster at 72MPH. The link above takes you to a list of the fastest inverted coasters in America.

Awesome, 2 out of those 3 are less than an hour away. I feel lucky. Too bad those are pretty much the only inverts here. At least they're special.

Unfortunately, 3 of the 4 inverted coasters that reach 70MPH or greater are those Intamin Impulse coasters. They are copied too frequently by big park chains. Intamin should build more unique launched inverted coasters like Volcano with a different layout.

Don't worry Intamin will build them. However, the parks need to pay for them. The only way to pay for them is with higher park admission fees. You can't have it both ways.

It's not intamin's fault... It's the park's fault. It's like people blaming imagineers at disney for not building creative rides. It's eisner and his budget cuts.

Those Impulse coasters are expensive though at about $8 Million. I've never been on one, but how are they?

I've been on most of them and they all are great.I prefer the unique ones to clones however. There seems to be too much repetiton at Six Flags parks. I wish and hope that they add more different coasters like Cedar Fair, Paramount, Busch, and WDW.

^ Those chains don't really add different coasters all of the time. Paramount is in the process of building another Italian Job clone. That would make three of those rides in two years. Also, there are Flight of Fear and Grizzly. I'm sure there might be more, but I don't feel like looking right now.

All chains build identical and/or extremely similar rides
Paramount Hurler - Carowinds, Kings Dominion Drop Zone - Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Great America Fly/Ricochet - Canada's Wonderland, Kings Dominion Italian Job - Kings Island, Canada's Wonderland, Kings Dominion Togo Standups as mentioned above Flight of Fear - Kings Dominion, Kings Island
Cedar Fair Morgan hypers - Dorney, Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun Patriot/Talon - Worlds of Fun, Dorney Silver Bullet, Raptor - Knott's, Cedar Point Impulse coasters - Valleyfair, Cedar Point
Busch Journey to Atlantis - SW Orlando, SW San Diego Montu/Alpengeist - BGT, BGW Sheikra/??? - BGT, BGW
Disney Space Mountain - various Splash Mountain - various Big Thunder - various Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom - VERY similar
So STFU if you are going to spew uneducated facts out of your ass in an attempt to blast Six Flags.

Eisner isn't Disney's CEO anymore... Believe me I've been in teh Save Kim Possible group for over a year and we all celebrated teh day Eisner stepped out and Iger stepped in.
I get distracted off of teh topic WAY too much.
I've heard Kennywood might be buying a B&M inverted coaster for next year, but that is all rumors.
