What's your #1 coaster w/the best view from the lifthill? My favorite would probably be Millennium Force b/c I can see the whole park from that 310 ft. lift hill & it looks simply amazing. Magnum XL-200, SheiKra, & Phantom's Revenge are also some of my other favorites too.

This time I did check all of the other pages to see if there was a thread similar to this one, & I didn't see any.

I thought that GASM's was pretty cool because to the right you can see almost the whole park, and to the left you can see Kingda Ka. Cyclone at SFNE also has a good lift hill, you can see the whole park.

Millennium Force is the obvious winner because of the sheer size of the first hill. Other great ones include the Coney Island Cyclone, Magnum, and, in my opinion, Hulk.

Great White (as mentioned), Great Nor' Easter, and Sea Serpent all give great views. The first two have a nice oceanview, the last has a great view of the island of Wildwood.

How can Hulk have a good view if your going at 40 m.p.h.?

If you ask me, it's a really cool, one of a kind view, especially in the front row.

Drachen Fire's was amazing. It wasn't the tallest hill but at 157' it was well above the trees at Busch. If you looked off to the right you could see the James River and then to the left you could see the Big Bad Wolf and the rest of the beautiful park.

For active coasters, X was pretty cool. Going up the hill backwards adds some spice to the experience but being able to see the mountains and all the rides at the park was awesome.

I don't see how it's cool, since it's just a piece of sky up there...

Since when does the Hulk have a lift hill?

I had about 10 minutes today to enjoy the views from where the train is on this lift hill:

Nitro hase a great veiw of the park and would be my faverite.

The best none coaster lift view woudl be coming out onto the drop of Splash Moutain.

Superman at SFNE has the best view IMO. On the right side is a good view of the park, and on the left of the CT River. It's definitely the closest coaster to a body of water I've ridden, If it had been built 6 inches farther left it would have been IN the water. That sensation is pretty scary. I didn't notice much of a view on Cyclone, as I was too busy crying

6 inches ha? More like 20-30 feet. But when your on it, it does seem like the river is right there.

Yeah, Boulder Dash had a good view, the trees and squirrels is pretty cool. I sat in the front seat during the day, and there were actually squirrels on the track. Really cool.

Believe it or not - the Racer at KI. Pure symmetry - that's a wonderful coaster from the peak of the lift. Was even better before they developed under the turnaround.

Shivering Timbers - seeing all of those air time filled hills, one after the other, it's just awesome.

Then again, many people overlook, or don't even know about this coaster.

Red - if you look straight down at the coaster only. The view is dismay looking to the left to undeveloped land or to the right at the empty part of the parking lot.

SRoS at SFNE has a great view of the CT river. Also SRoS at WBMWM is in the middle of a desert with nothing else around for miles. The landscape is pretty neat, although it's a little creepy at the same time.
