I'll be visiting Hersheypark this evening from 5:00-10:00 p.m. w/my best friend. If ya'll wanna finally see who the mysterious RCGenius looks like, I'll be there. Here's how you'll find me:

I'm a brother (or black man if ya'll don't know what that means) who stands about 6'1''. I'll be moving constantly for coaster thrills which will probably be in this order:

Comet
SuperDooperLooper (maybe)
Great Bear
Storm Runner
Sidewinder
Wild Mouse (maybe)
Wildcat
Lightning Racer

I'll also be wearing a Ray Lewis jersey & will be carrying around a black & white RocaWear gym bag all evening.

Here's my TR for Hersheypark from yesterday:

My best friend Jimmy & I left for HP at around 4:50 p.m. & we arrived at around 5:20 p.m. Here's how our evening went down:

The first coaster ride for the evening was Wildcat. We actually went on the front seat. It was so much fun b/c I've never been on the front seat of Wildcat b/f. I told Jim that if you want a good ride on Wildcat, don't have your back up against the seat b/c it really works. Fortunately though, I didn't have to for the front seat b/c it was smoother. The 1st drop's still good & it has some good airtime on it too for a GCI twister. Even though I've been on Wildcat a lot, it still has one of the most unpredictable layouts around. My rides on Wildcat has really been a lot better this yr. after I've learned to not my back up against the seat.

After Wildcat came Lightning Racer, my favorite coaster at Hersheypark. We decided to race, so Jim went on the back of Thunder, my favorite side of LR, & I rode on the back of Lightning. My train won & it was a lot of fun. To tell ya'll the truth, I actually loved the back seat of Lightning better than Thunder. Lightning Racer's still my favorite coaster at HP b/c it has good speed, good airtime (could've had some more), a nice long layout (which I look for in a good coaster ride), very smooth (it could be a lil rougher, but oh well), & it's just an overall fun dueling/racing woody.

After LR was Sidewinder. I didn't ride Sidewinder at all this yr. b/c I didn't really enjoy it when I went on it last yr. My best friend wanted to ride it though, so I was just like one ride couldn't hurt me at all. To my surprise though, I actually had a good ride on Sidewinder. I used the same tip as Wildcat, but instead of my back, I moved my head forward & it was actually a lot smoother than my last ride. It's so intense & we were in the back, so going up the lift hill was exciting b/c it was really high.

After Sidewinder came the Great Bear. Jim & I rode GB in the back & we actually got to be right on it by the time we came to the back of the line b/c 4 people wanted to ride together. After my ride on GB, I thought that it was OK. The helix b/f the drop's still intense, the 1st drop's good, & the 4 inversions were fun. Great Bear's just really starting to get really weak, old, & kinda boring b/c it's too short, doesn't have a lot of elements, & has too much straight track. I've been on Great Bear since 2000 & know the whole layout by heart. Besides, after riding better B&M inverts like Dorney Park's Talon, Islands of Adventure's Dueling Dragons Fire & Ice, Busch Gardens Tampa's Montu, & Cedar Point's Raptor, I knew that I'd probably get a boring ride on possibly the weakest B&M invert built yet, & I was right. Great Bear needs more elements & to be 1000 ft. longer.

After GB came the Comet. I only have fun on the Comet sitting in the back seat, so Jim & I rode Comet in the back. Comet's still a good coaster ride & I'd be devastated if HP wanted to tear it down. It's actually better than some of their other coasters b/c it's so smooth considering its age, the first 3 drops has some great airtime in the back, & the overall layout's my kind of style: a classic out-and-back woody. If only they got rid of those trim brakes by the 2nd turnaround & it would've been an airtime machine & on my Top 10 List in a heartbeat. It's still a classic coaster worth riding at least once to ride a piece of Hersheypark's history.

After our ride on Comet was the Claw. Jim convinced me to ride it b/c since ya'll know that I don't do spinning rides, I had to watch & see how much it spins you around & it didn't really spin that much, so I gave it a shot. My ride on Claw was actually fun. You get some airtime on it & the spinning action really doesn't affect you at all. The Claw was good, but ya'll can never get me on Chaos b/c it spins & flips you like crazy.

After our surprising ride on the Claw came the star attr
